Alexander Hamilton and the New $10 Bill
After over ten months of lobbying the US Treasury, the #SaveHamilton movement saw success when in April 2016, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew announced that Alexander Hamilton would remain on the front of the $10 bill, a reversal of his June 2015 announcement. Along with the redesign of the $10 bill to now include five notable women on the back of the $10 bill, the $5 and $20 bills are also being redesigned to include more notable people, including Harriet Tubman on the front of the $20.
